It’s packed in a perfect 750mL bottle where it is unfiltered and “bottle-conditioned”, and is probably the first Danish-style rye-based brews I’ve had. What is crazygonuts…it’s from Placentia, CA, near CSU Fullerton! Craft beer has another friend in Southern California.
I’ll admit that the rye was not a key note for me, more malty that rye-y, which left me with a bit of a sweet overall taste for a “dark rye ale”. But who cares, the bottle was european-looking and it was brewed or “brued” locally.
